The conference is holding a block of rooms at two separate hotels in Denton. Attendees must reserve by the deadlines listed below in order to secure the conference rate:

Local Food and Tourism
Denton has a vibrant cultural and nightlife scene. Visit Steve’s Wine Bar, Harvest House, or Miss Angeline’s for drinks and live entertainment. The Horse’s Axe or Free Play offers games and billiards. Recycled Books is a Denton treasure trove of interesting books and old records, and tasty gelato and ice cream can be found at Two Gentlemen of Verona and Beth Marie’s, respectively. There are many great restaurants on the Downtown Square – such as LSA Burger Co., 940 Kitchen, Layalina, Graffiti Pasta, and Barley & Board – and nearby – Komodo Loco, Andaman, or Hannah’s Off the Square. History buffs will enjoy the architecture and significance of the Denton County Courthouse, the Bayless-Selby House Museum, the Denton County African-American Museum, or the Little Chapel in the Woods (located on the north perimeter of TWU’s campus and designed by O’Neill Ford).
